A day after the sudden and unexpected passing of up-and-coming actor Angus Cloud, his Euphoria costar Zendaya has added her voice to the chorus of those mourning him.

Cloud played Fezco on the first two seasons of the HBO drama and had recently wrapped filming on feature projects when he died. In announcing his death, his family noted that he had lost his father a week earlier. Zendaya, who stars as Rue on the show, ended her sentiments, “My heart is with his mother and family at this time and please be kind and patient as grief looks different for everyone.”

The post attracted thousands of comments, with many sending love and support to Zendaya and others who knew Cloud, and many fans reminding one another to let people grieve privately before demanding a public post. In the statement announcing his death, Cloud’s family wrote, “We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone,” all of which were proudly on display in a Glamour interview he gave last February, talking about his love of The Office and burgers.
