Golden Bachelor Contestant Faith Is a Really Good Singer, Actually

Warning: Golden Bachelor spoilers ahead!

I can think of nothing more cringe-y than a person whipping out a guitar on a first date—and I say that as someone who’s dated a musician (a guitarist!) for the last five years.

Of course, appearing on the series premiere of the Golden Bachelor isn’t just any old first date. It’s basically a requirement that you get a little creative, and Faith, the recipient of Gerry’s Turner’s “first impression rose,” successfully captured Gerry’s attention when she serenaded him during their one-on-one time. I mean, he clearly loved it!

After watching the first episode, however, the cynic in me wondered if Faith was only on the show to launch a music career. (She certainly wouldn’t be the first person in Bachelor franchise history to pursue the show for “the wrong reasons.”) But then I came across this video on Instagram, and I decided it didn’t matter if she was angling for fame. Because it turns out she’s good. Like, really good.

In the video, shared in 2021, Faith covers 4 Non Blondes’s “Whats Up?” at a brewery in her home state of Washington with Bobby (of ‘Bobby & Faith,’ according to their neon sign). And they are delightful!
