It’s back-to-school time! As we mourn the loss of daylight hours, Netflix thankfully has provided plenty of entertainment suitable for the whole family as an after-homework treat. Personally, I’ll be bidding summertime goodbye with all the Jaws movies, which are very fun and not that scary, in case you’ve never…dipped your toe in that water.
Fans of reality dating shows will be glued to the continuing chaos of Love Is Blind, while history buffs should note that more HBO titles are migrating to Netflix, including World War 2 dramas Band of Brothers and The Pacific. Finally, something to text your dad about! Super-popular Virgin River returns for more drama, intrigue, and soap-y dialogue. Plus, plenty of comedies for everyone else: Baby Mama, Miss Congeniality and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 will all be available soon. (Just in time for the third installment, which hits theaters September 5!)
