Dakota Johnson has already made it clear how she feels about limes. Now, it seems our girl has turned her attention to another fruit: watermelon. The actor was recently spotted lugging one after a stop by the farmer’s market in Malibu, where she has been living with fiancé Chris Martin since 2021. The two homebodies generally prefer to stay in and be cozy at Martin’s $12.5 million home except when Johnson accompanies him on tour, which makes public sightings few and far between these days.
But the promise of fresh produce was tempting enough to lure Johnson away from their love nest, if only for a short time. She rolled up the market on Sunday wearing an oversized beige sweater, cream-colored lounge pants, sage green Adidas Sambas sneakers, and big black sunglasses. I have to wonder if the sweater Johnson is wearing here might belong to Martin due to the sheer size of it. Her best accessory, however, was the watermelon Johnson was clutching as she walked back to her car. The look is more fall fashion than the grocery girl aesthetic, but it’s giving shades of both trends for sure.
