Remember when Vanderpump Rules was minding its business, trucking merrily along through season 10, and then spiraled into total chaos? Suddenly, everyone in your life was demanding detailed breakdowns of Scandoval. Your mom called to ask if you’d “heard of Raquel Leviss” (obviously, mother, get a GRIP). Half your friend group locked themselves inside and binged 10 seasons of VPR over the course of two weeks, only to emerge unhinged, unmoored, and untethered from reality.
And now we’re about to do it all over again. Vanderpump Rules is currently in the middle of filming season 11, and things are already dramatic to say the least. Here’s everything we know about the show—including spoilers!
Rachel Leviss Still Hasn’t Signed On
Rachel (note: she’s no longer going by Raquel) is out of her mental health treatment facility and currently in negotiations with Bravo. It’s unclear at this point if she’s going to appear in season 11—but the rest of the cast is well under way filming. Meaning, if Rachel does negotiate the terms of her contract, she’ll be showing up late.
Just FYI, Rachel has been laying low since the drama of last season and hasn’t posted on Instagram since this:
The New Season Started Filming on June 28
At least according to TMZ, which also reported that as of July 28, the show was “halfway through” filming. So presumably, they’ll be wrapping up right around the end of August or early September. So far, the cast has been seen hanging at various bars and restaurants, and Tom was spotted crying.
Ariana Madix Refuses to Speak to Tom Sandoval
Thus far, Ariana and Tom have filmed most of their scenes apart—though they were spotted at the same event in late July. But they didn’t exchange any words, and according to TMZ, Ariana is “just not interested in talking to the guy.”
Get Ready for PuppyGate 2.0
PuppyGate has made its way from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to the hallowed halls of Vanderpump Rules. This time the puppy in question is Rachel and James Kennedy’s dog Graham, who allegedly ended up in a shelter after biting Rachel’s mom—though she claims he was sent to a rehabilitation center. Either way, Vanderpump Dog Foundation got tipped off about it and reunited Graham with James, who has since changed Graham’s name to Hippie.
There’s Been Drama Over the Cast Hanging With Sandoval
Most of the Vanderpump Rules cast made it extremely clear they are Team Ariana during last season’s reunion, so fans were surprised to find out that everyone was hanging with Tom during a trip to Lake Tahoe. Though, Lala Kent and Scheana Shay were quick to defend themselves.
“It like still blows my mind that people don’t realize we’re filming a show,” Lala said on Instagram Stories, noting that a group photo featuring Sandoval was for a fan: “What are we gonna be like, ‘No, absolutely not.’ Like, no, ‘Happy birthday, let’s take a fucking picture.’ It’s called adulting.”
Meanwhile, Scheana added, “We’re in a group. We’re all here. We hopped in a photo. You know what? I happened to be standing where I was standing. I take photos with strangers every fucking day. That’s how you take a photo. I stand like that. I smile. I tilt my head to my good side.”
Scheana and Sandoval Did “Spiritual Meditation”
Scheana chatted about the experience on a recent Amazon Live, saying, “I get paired with Sandoval to do this spiritual meditation healing sort of thing. It was very uncomfortable.”
“I don’t like what he did to Ariana obviously,” she added. “Him and I have had a really long friendship so everyone always says, ‘Oh Scheana the flip-flopper, Scheana needs to have loyalty,’ and losing a friendship of that long has obviously been a struggle.”
So When Will Vanderpump Rules Season 11 Air?
Season 10 had a February 2023 premiere date, but it seems unlikely that Bravo will make us wait that long for another VPR fix. Plus, back in July, EP Alex Baskin told The Hollywood Reporter, “In six months, we’ll drop a new season. It’s good to make the audience miss you a little bit.” Sooo….fingers crossed for January 2024?
Annnd that’s all we know! But with at least another month of filming, we’ll definitely be keeping you up to date.
