Anitta on Body Positivity, Plastic Surgery and Recent Health Scares

Savage x Fenty Crystal Crush VIP Box

As she’s modeling the new Crystal Crush collection in the campaign to accompany the announcement, there’s no denying that Anitta has found a brand that echoes her spirit through and through.

“We can see some changes in the fashion industry coming from some brands,” admits Anitta. “However, I’d be lying if I said this is already a global phenomenon and that every single brand is really connected to these ideals. But Savage x Fenty definitely is one of them. I have great hopes for the industry, one day, realizing the value of diversity.”

“Inclusivity is the love language Savage x Fenty uses to embrace femininity,” explains Anitta. “We should all be able to express our sensuality and just how good we feel about ourselves, and Savage x Fenty is all about celebrating this freedom of being. I’m such a fan.”

Since launching her lingerie label in 2018, Rihanna has taken it upon herself to disrupt the industry and truly redefine what’s seen as sexy in the mainstream.

Admitting that she sadly “dealt with some health issues” last year, though, Anitta’s learned a valuable lesson about the importance of knowing her body’s limitations.

“Savage x Fenty resonates a lot with me because my work and my art are also about love, confidence, and feminine empowerment. It means the world to be a part of such an important movement.”

“I’m super good now, treating what needs to be treated, but that has taught me to be gentler to myself. To respect my body limitations and to always save some time to take care of myself, body and mind.”

Alongside an accessible price point, Savage x Fenty has, since its launch, showcased its vision on runways and in campaigns featuring models of all sizes, genders, sexualities, ethnicities, and body types.
