What has been your biggest beauty fail?

What’s your go-to getting ready music?

You travel constantly. What city or country gives you the greatest beauty inspiration?

It’s freshly washed.

What’s one beauty rule you swear by?

Fill in the blank: I love my hair when….

Lancôme Brow Define Precision Brow Pencil

Lancôme Le 8 Hypnôse Serum-Infused Volumizing Mascara

What’s one beauty trend you’re obsessed with right now?

Do you remember the first beauty product you ever used?

How much time do you spend getting ready?

Roughly 10 minutes. I’ve got my favorite tricks down.

If you could change one thing about beauty perceptions on social media and in Hollywood, what would that be?

My fellow moms. It’s hard and chaotic to work and be present for your kids all at once. It’s important to be able to do both.

That selfies get likes. Let’s turn the camera around at what’s in front of us. Selfies can be nice and organic in the right context. Let’s keep it special.

Supergluing your eyebrows. Ouch.

What’s the last Instagram rabbit hole you went down?

What’s your favorite emoji?

Kyoto left an incredible impression on me. In Japanese culture in general, the people are all about living within nature and trying not to change but thrive surrounded by the beauty of Mother Nature. Beauty, to me, is just that. Appreciating what we have, who we are, and where we come from— letting nature inform and inspire our journey inside and out of ourselves.

[Seyfriend sends the crying smiling emoji.]

You can only use three products for the rest of your life. What are they and why?

What’s one beauty rule you think is BS?

An audiobook!

My sister’s mascara.

What colors are you loving on your nails right now?

Keeping my undereyes moisturized always—the skin is thinnest there.

Fill in the blank: I feel most beautiful when…

Donkeys relaxing.

Mascara because I have blonde lashes, and a little mascara like Lancôme’s Le 8 Hypnôse brightens my whole face. Also, Lancôme’s L’Absolu Rouge Drama lipstick in my color, Mademoiselle Amanda, because it’s slightly darker than my natural color and gives a healthier glow to my lips. And Lancôme’s Brow Define pencil—my brows are also just a little bit too blonde to see sometimes. Highlighting—and appreciating—the features I already have is the key.

Who are the women who inspire you the most right now?

I egregiously overplucked my eyebrows in high school for them never to return in full.

Crocheting or looking for a new pattern or project to crochet or knit while my son naps and my daughter is at school…with warm coffee nearby.

My kids make me laugh.

I usually keep them clean because color just chips off immediately. Farm chores are no match for cute nails!

What is your favorite way to take a moment for yourself?
